Privacy at Senru

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how CLYR Inc. handles information in the Senru app, its widgets, Live Activities, Siri and Shortcuts integration, and the Senru website at senru.app.

2. Information the app stores

Senru stores the task information you create so that the app can show your timeline, reminders, widgets, and task history.

• Task title or text you enter.
• Deadline, reminder time, recurrence setting, and creation date.
• Completion time and trash/deletion time.
• App state such as whether onboarding has been completed and a short-lived flag used to open the capture screen from system controls.

Because task titles are free-form text, you should avoid entering sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable storing it in the app and, if iCloud sync is enabled, in your iCloud account.

3. Where app data is stored

On your device

Task data is stored locally using Apple platform storage. The app and its widgets share the same local app group store so widgets can display your nearest task.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is available, Senru mirrors your task store to the app's CloudKit private database so your own devices can stay in sync. This sync is provided by Apple iCloud. CLYR Inc. does not run a separate server for your task data.

When iCloud is unavailable

If iCloud is not available, Senru works locally on the device. Sync can begin after iCloud becomes available again.

4. System features

• Notifications: Senru schedules local notifications for due-soon alerts, overdue alerts, and manual reminders. Notification content may include a task title and can appear on the lock screen or notification surfaces according to your system settings.
• Widgets and Live Activities: These surfaces read the local shared task store and may show the title, deadline, heat, and remaining time for your nearest task.
• Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, and system controls: If you use these integrations, the phrase or text you provide is parsed on device and saved as a task. Apple's system services may process your voice or shortcut request according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

5. App measurement and information we do not collect

Senru does not use advertising SDKs, and we do not sell app task data. We may use measurement or analytics SDKs to understand app reliability, crashes, performance, and aggregate feature usage. These tools may collect technical information such as app version, device model, OS version, locale, event timestamps, crash diagnostics, and pseudonymous installation identifiers.

We do not use these tools to read task titles or task bodies, and we do not share task data with advertising networks or data brokers. If we introduce or materially change measurement or analytics tools, we will update this Privacy Policy and App Store privacy information as required.

The app does not ask for your contacts, photos, camera data, precise location, health data, payment information, email address, phone number, or advertising identifier.

6. Website data

The Senru website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard technical information needed to deliver the site, such as request metadata and security logs.

The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page performance and aggregate usage. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as collecting a minimum amount of information such as timing metrics and not tracking individual end users across Cloudflare customers' Internet properties.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share app task data with advertising networks or data brokers.

Information may be processed by Apple when you use iCloud, notifications, Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, or other Apple system services. Website data may be processed by Cloudflare as described above. We may also disclose information if required to comply with law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the app, or the website.

8. Retention and deletion

• Tasks remain in Senru until you complete, move, restore, or delete them.
• Deleting a task in the app removes it from the local store and, when iCloud sync is active, syncs that deletion through iCloud.
• Deleting the app removes local app data from that device. If you use iCloud sync, iCloud data may remain in your iCloud account until deleted through the app or iCloud controls.

9. Children

Senru is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, website, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
